Raised on the island of Maui since I was 7 years old, I combine local insight with an eye for storytelling to create photos that are natural, emotional, and timeless. Through my business, Mark Tablang Imagery, I help couples and families turn their Maui experience into lasting memories with authentic photo and video coverage.

My journey into photography started unexpectedly—inside the gym my wife and I still run here on the island. I began taking photos for our clients, capturing their grit and passion in action. That led to friends asking for family sessions, engagement shoots, and wedding coverage. But they didn’t want anything traditional—they wanted someone to document their day honestly and unscripted.

That’s my specialty: candid Maui photography that feels like you—not a pose.
