A Magical Wedding at Sugar Beach Events in Kihei: Megan & Kulani's Special Day

Aloha! Allow me to take you on a journey to the beautiful Sugar Beach Events venue in Kihei, where Megan and Kulani celebrated their love. As a Kihei wedding photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing many special moments, but this was truly a standout event.

The morning preparations started off with a flurry of excitement and anticipation. Megan and Kulani, with their unique, vibrant personalities, filled the room with laughter and joy. Their love for each other was palpable, and it spilled over to everyone around them.

The ceremony was held at the picturesque Sugar Beach Events venue, surrounded by the natural beauty of Maui. The reception, also at Sugar Beach Events, was absolutely stunning. The standout decor details included a breathtaking archway adorned with tropical flowers, and rustic wooden tables beautifully decorated with candles and floral arrangements.

The guests, most of whom live on Maui, with a few who travelled from the mainland, added to the vibrant atmosphere. The weather was perfect, a sunny November day that was ideal for an outdoor wedding in Kihei. The beachside ceremony, the sunset photos on the beach, and the heartfelt toasts were some of the unique features of the day.

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the amazing vendors who helped make this day possible. Wedding Planner Edward Garcia & Gerry from Eddings, DJ Joe Cortez/DJ Tony at Next Level Entertainment, and the team at Sugar Beach Events for both the venue and catering, all played significant roles. And let's not forget Mary Smith’s delicious cake, the stunning hair and makeup by Michelle Alvares, and the fantastic rentals from Brittany Thorne at Let's Entertain Maui.

My role as a Maui photographer is not just about capturing images, it's about capturing emotions. And let me tell you, the emotions were running high that day. The joy, the laughter, the tears, and most importantly, the love Megan and Kulani share, were all encapsulated in the images I had the honor of taking.
